Lisa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 16 years of counselling experience. She has a Masters degree with honours in Counselling Psychology from UBC. Lisa has worked with a diverse population in her private practice for the past 10 years. In addition, she has provided counselling and facilitated and organized clinical groups at Family Services of the North Shore, at Delta Family Services, and at the Musqueam Indian Band.

Lisa believes in peoples' natural tendency towards happiness and fulfillment. Sometimes, however, obstacles such as life crises, anxiety, stress, depression, and harmful habits can interfere with this natural process. Lisa has extensive clinical experience in helping her clients to work through their stress, anxiety, depression and life crises, and to successfully rebuild their lives. She has an eclectic clinical approach, which includes cognitive behavioural therapy, imagery work, and EMDR. Lisa has a deep passion for helping her clients to effect meaningful changes and to let go of harmful patterns.
